Bob Rutherford, as managing director and owner of In Flight Dynamics LLC, is an active Air Safety Consultant, in practice supporting business and legal enterprises. Specializing in airborne operational issues, from flight test to aircraft certification (icing). Bob is currently on the board of trustees for the Cleveland National Air Show and consults for air shows and flight demonstration teams.

Holding several patents on aircraft de-ice systems and as a member of the NASA icing research team both as a technical director and a research pilot, Bob has participated in several aircraft litigation's as an expert witness for inflight icing issues.

An accomplished public speaker and educator Bob addresses aircraft industry groups on various topics specializing in Flight Training, Air Show operation and in-flight icing.

Bob previously owned and operated a Cessna CJ and flew as a 135 Captain,  currently he owns and operates a Cessna 340A N340FA SN-0527 and a Boeing PT 13 Stearman N65051

These days Bob is an instructor for Executive Flight Training, conducting recurrent and initial flight training in numerous turbo prop, jet, and piston aircraft.
